Dunbar Education is recruiting on behalf of a primary school in Northampton that is looking for an Early Years Practitioner.
The primary school believes in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can thrive. Their commitment to high-quality early years education and care is at the heart of everything they do. The school is now looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our dynamic team.
Job Description: As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of children within Reception. You will work closely with a team of professionals to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, and evaluate a range of activities to promote children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families, ensuring each child feels valued and supported.
Monitor and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and providing regular feedback to parents and carers.
Create a warm, welcoming, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the class.
Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.Requirements:
A relevant Early Years qualification (minimum Level 2 or equivalent).
Experience working in an early years / school setting.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their wellbeing and development.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A proactive, positive, and flexible approach to work.Benefits:
