Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced DFMA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly) Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing production designs to improve manufacturability, reduce costs, and enhance overall product quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Product Design Optimization:
* Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure products are designed with manufacturing and assembly in mind.
* Analyze product designs for manufacturability and assembly efficiency.
* Recommend design modifications to enhance production processes and reduce costs.

Manufacturing Support:
* Work closely with manufacturing teams to understand production challenges and provide solutions.
* Develop and implement manufacturing processes that align with DFMA principles.
* Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new product designs and manufacturing methods.
* Cost Reduction:
* Identify opportunities for cost savings through design simplification and standardization.
* Evaluate materials and processes to ensure cost-effective production without compromising quality.
* Implement value engineering techniques to optimize product cost and performance.

Quality Assurance:
* Ensure that product designs meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify and address potential quality issues in the design phase.
* Conduct design reviews and validation to ensure robust and reliable product performance.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in DFMA or a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and assembly techniques.
* Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
