IT & Systems Manager - £40k - £45k


Our award-winning client are on the lookout for an IT & Systems Manager to join the team. You’ll play a pivotal role in the Operations team to help create and maintain a seamless technical and user experience, supporting their people to do the best work of their careers.

The successful candidate will provide highly-detailed, accurate and efficient IT administration support to the business.

You will work closely with the Head of Operations to support operational objectives, with the aim of ensuring world-class service and output for their clients. You’ll work with the Operations team to ensure the business operates in an efficient, robust and effective way.


Main Responsibilities and Skills

  • Delivering scalable IT solutions for an independent business with global operations
  • Improvement, maintenance and optimisation of our IT hardware, supply chain and software including:
  • IT hardware orders and repairs
  • Security
  • Apple account management
  • Google Workspace management (including archival process)
  • All technical software, tools and subscriptions
  • Server maintenance and optimisation (Synology and Video server options)
  • Domain management
  • Office tech solutions improvements and maintenance (conference tech, LAN wiring, adapter orders etc)
  • Experience with: Synology, EVO server, video server workflow is desirable
  • GDPR process management (regular removal of personal data after agency project delivery)
  • IT management experience
  • A passion for operations and its role in a business
  • An enjoyment of ‘processes’ and ability to drive them
  • Good level of emotional intelligence and people skills
  • A passion for sport, music and/or culture is a plus


Skills & Experience

  • IT management experience
  • A passion for operations and its role in a business
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot and correct errors, and produce work to a very high standard
  • High level of organisation and thoroughness in all work, with a track record of this in previous roles
  • High proactivity with an ability to take ownership of areas of responsible and drive them forward
  • Ability and desire to improve things and make things brilliant
  • Good communication skills; written and verbal, and ability to communicate formally and informally as required
  • An enjoyment of ‘processes’ and ability to drive them
  • Good level of emotional intelligence and people skills
  • Highly trustworthy and able to act with discretion
  • Passion and enjoyment of working with technology, and desire to use technology to positively impact a business
  • Desire to learn, grow and develop, and a track record of doing this in some capacity
  • A passion for sport, music and/or culture is a plus
