About the role:
We are excited to announce an opening for a full-time KS2 Teaching Assistant, a vital addition to our dedicated team. This role has become available due to our growing student body and the need to provide additional support to ensure every student can achieve their best. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support students who need help catching up with the curriculum, providing one-on-one assistance, small group work, and helping to create an inclusive classroom environment.
Each class typically comprises 25-30 enthusiastic and diverse learners. This role stands out as an opportunity to make a real difference in a dynamic educational setting, working with a team of passionate professionals dedicated to student success. The salary is competitive and aligns with your experience.
Application Requirements:
• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Patience, creativity, and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualised and small group support to students.
• Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Support students with special educational needs, adapting activities to ensure inclusivity.
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
