Psychology Teacher Opportunity Thriving Secondary School in Kingston

We are delighted to partner with a thriving secondary school in Kingston recognized for its commitment to academic excellence and student wellbeing. They are seeking a dedicated and passionate Psychology Teacher to join their team in a fulltime permanent capacity.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be instrumental in igniting curiosity and fostering a deep understanding of the human mind and behavior among students. The role involves:

  • Designing and delivering engaging Psychology lessons across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 aligned with the national curriculum and schools academic standards.
  • Creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking inquiry and exploration of psychological concepts.
  • Assessing student progress providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborating with colleagues within the Humanities or Social Sciences faculty to create a cohesive and enriching learning experience.
  • Staying abreast of current developments in psychological research and incorporating them into teaching practice.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Psychology or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Psychology at the secondary school level is preferred but not required; NQTs are welcome to apply.
