We are looking for a highly motivated QA Engineer to join our development team and help develop our SaaS billing platform

Elevate . We are now at a pivotal point in the development of the product as we look to scale and develop the product whilst continuing to innovate and keep us light years ahead of our competition.

To succeed in this role, you will be a team player with a keen eye for detail and a creative problem solver with a “get things done” attitude. You should be eager to help and share your knowledge, with the passion for learning and improving yourself and others.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with others through whiteboarding and pair programming sessions.nCommunicate effectively with team members, stakeholders and customers.nWork closely with the Product Owner and engineers to drive quality.nUnderstand and help refine user stories and acceptance criteria.nAttend community of practice meetings to drive common test approaches across teamsnWork with the team to ensure stories and tasks are delivered with appropriate tests.nMake suggestions and take action on improving automation coverage..nWrite and design test cases with a view towards automation.nExecute exploratory tests and log defects.nCreate automated tests and liaise with teams on best practice and design.nOffer constructive feedback to colleagues.nReceive constructive feedback with a growth mindset.nStay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.nShare your knowledge by running sessions and creating supporting documentation.nContinuously find ways to improve something, anything, everything: KAIZEN.

Experience Required

Must Have:nExperience in QA and agile testing within a software development team.nFormal software testing qualifications.nProgramming skills ( Java / JavaScript ) and test frameworks ( Junit ,

Cucumber ).nProficiency with test-driven development ( TDD )

Good-To-Have:nBDDnKnowledge of and experience of automated CI/CD concepts/processesnExperience with modern monitoring and logging tools (AWS, Grafana, Kibana)nExperience in testing cloud native solutions ( AWS

preferred)nSelenium and/or Cucumber

Soft Skills:nStrong team player with a drive to improve both themselves and the teamnEager to help others and share knowledgenAbility to adapt to an ever-changing environmentnExperience working on an international scale with a variety of culturesnA flexible but organised work stylenExcellent written and verbal communication in English
