We're seeking a future team member for the role of Lead Analyst (Client Facing) - Transaction Regulatory Reporting to join our Markets Transactions Regulatory Reporting team. This role is located in Manchester - HYBRID.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Implement 'best practices' in terms of meeting our regulatory reporting obligations for both firm and client submissions reporting for EMEA regulations (EMIR, SFTR & MIFID 2) ensuring they are complete, accurate and timely.
- Leads and participates in internal activities and initiatives designed to improve the client experience. Helps develop process improvements.
- Resolves complex or non-routine client issues or inquires.
- Collaboration: Continuous dialogue and open communication with Lead Manager and Group Manager on status of work being completed by supporting teams
- Work closely with the Front Office and offer support with client communication and process walk throughs
- Understanding the current regulatory reporting governance, controls and architecture in place.
- Good communicator, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting ideally for EMIR, MiFID/ MiFIR or SFTR.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Problem solving skills, judgement, and experience to analyze information
- Self-motivation, ownership of issues with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft packages particularly Excel
