Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Planner to oversee and drive our projects onsite in Mayfair. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the mechanical and electrical journey, with a particular focus on projects involving marble and stonework packages. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational and leadership skills, capable of ensuring that all project phases are meticulously planned and executed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and timelines to ensure all project milestones are met.
- Onsite Project Management: Oversee the daily activities of the project onsite, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Mechanical and Electrical Integration: Coordinate the integration of mechanical and electrical systems within the project, ensuring seamless collaboration between different teams and disciplines.
- Marble and Stonework Packages: Manage the planning and execution of marble and stonework packages, ensuring quality and precision in all installations.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands and deadlines, including labour, materials, and equipment.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure all project deliverables meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
- Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Engineering Background: A degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Chartered Planner: Ideally a Chartered Planner with relevant certifications.
- Project Management Experience: Proven experience in project management, particularly in projects involving mechanical, electrical, and stonework elements.
- Industry Experience: Experience with marble or stonework packages is highly desirable.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of project management software and tools.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
