Description
Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding debt.
Communicate with customers regarding overdue accounts and resolve payment issues.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and credit risk analysis.
Implement and maintain effective credit control procedures and policies.
Negotiate payment plans with customers to facilitate timely payments.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment history.
Assist in month-end closing activities and audits related to accounts receivable.
Provide excellent customer service to all clients via telephone or email
Profile
Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
Experience of providing excellent customer service via telephone and email
Strong understanding of credit and collections principles and practices.
Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
May be working towards an accountancy degree
