Neon is seeking a highly motivated, proactive, experienced, and enthusiastic individual to make a significant contribution to the continued growth and success of the company.


This role is based at our Hertford Office and reports to the Head of Supply Chain.


Description of Main Duties and Responsibilities


Inbound Planning and Execution:

o Coordinate inbound logistics, including transportation, customs clearance, and third-party storage.

o Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure that product documentation is accurate and compliant.

o Manage and reconcile invoices and paperwork with the Accounts team.

o Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock quantities to prevent overstocking or out of stocks.

o Ensure compliance with strict quality standards during the receipt and handling of incoming materials by adhering to strict quality processes.

o Work with Neon’s suppliers to plan and coordinate the timely delivery of goods.

o Manage the serialisation process to comply with relevant industry regulations. This includes managing daily checks, alerts, uploading files and testing via a bespoke portal.



Monthly Supply Chain Planning:

o Participate in cross functional monthly supply chain planning meetings to assess demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory requirements.

o Support the Supply Chain Manager to manage supply plans whilst considering capacity constraints, lead times, market dynamics and other variables.

o Create Purchase Orders for products using internal accounting software.


Inventory management:

o Complete quarterly reconciliation of Neon’s Controlled Drugs portfolio.

o Manage the destruction process to ensure that stock levels are kept to a minimum

o Manage the short dated process for products through collaboration with Neon’s Commercial, Quality, and Regulatory teams.

o Support new product introductions with product set up requirements in time to meet our launch commitments.


Export Planning and Execution:

o Collaborate with logistical partners to plan and coordinate the timely and compliant collection of goods. This includes:

o Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.

o Coordinate outbound logistics including transportation and customs clearance.

o Completing export documents and declarations


Quality Compliance:

o Adhere to Neon's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for supply chain processes.

o Ensure all supply chain activities comply with regulatory requirements.

o By following SOPs, monitor product quality throughout the supply chain, from procurement to distribution.

o Maintain quality and compliance for all products by working closely with the Quality team for all import and export activities.

o Raising Change Controls, Deviations and CAPAs as necessary to ensure continuous improvement in all supply chain processes.


Customer service:

o Managing customer enquiries regarding stock status and maintain a product availability tracker.


Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

· Ambitious self-starter with excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict processes.

· Strong administrative experience, preferably using MS office, able to quickly learn new IT systems and processes.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to think ahead and across a process, anticipating issues and opportunities, working cross functionally where required.

· Strong planning, coordinating and reconciliation skills.

· Highly organised with an ability to multitask and prioritise daily workload to meet tight deadlines.

· Experience in supply chain management and / or the pharmaceutical industry is helpful but not a requirement.


Salary and Benefits

· 25 Days Annual Leave + an extra day annual leave per year to a maximum of 30 (excluding bank holidays)
