We are partnering with an innovative organisation that prioritises a robust IT governance framework and a strong risk management culture. Our client is seeking an experienced IT GRC and Resilience Manager to lead their strategy and programme delivery, driving improvements across their IT landscape.


As the IT GRC and Resilience Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing key initiatives aimed at enhancing governance, risk management, and resilience within the IT function. This role involves leading the establishment of an IT Policy Framework, standardising governance practices, and implementing effective risk management methodologies.


Key Responsibilities:


IT Policy Framework:

  • Design and deploy an IT policy framework that aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements.


Risk Management:

  • Develop and implement risk management methodologies, processes, and tools to strengthen the organisation’s risk posture.
  • Manage the IT risk register, identifying and owning potential technology risks.


Disaster Recovery:

  • Lead disaster recovery planning and execution, ensuring tests are conducted and linked to comprehensive business continuity strategies.
  • Maintain and refine disaster recovery plans based on regular evaluations and testing outcomes.


Client Audit Management:

  • Oversee external audit processes, including compliance with ISO 27001, and ensure the organisation is prepared for assessments.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for audit inquiries, facilitating effective communication between stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance, with a strong focus on technology risk.
  • Experience in disaster recovery planning and business continuity management.
  • Familiarity with audit standards and processes, particularly ISO 27001.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISM, CRISC, CISSP) are highly desirable.
