Brook Street Social Care are working with a well-known organisation who are seeking a new member to join their Ammanford team, and be a front-line hero for victims in need You will be supporting women and children who have been subject to domestic violence, working out of a refuge centre. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those affected by domestic violence, then please apply today
Responsibilities:
Provide crucial support to victims of domestic violence within a multi-agency framework.
Be the first point of contact for individuals accessing the service.
Conduct risk assessments and support planning to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
Requirements:
Must hold a valid driver's license and have access to your own car.
Experience working with vulnerable people who have experienced domestic violence.
Experience collaborating with multiple agencies to provide comprehensive support.
Proficient in conducting risk assessments and support planning.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of domestic violence and its effects.
Familiarity with the benefit system and housing legislation.
