A new opportunity for a Test and Assembly Technician has become available to join a well-established Oil and Gas Company in Aberdeen. In this role you will be expected to carry out assembly, testing and maintenance duties to equipment in accordance with company procedures. This company have an impressive history and portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities:
* Disassembly, reassembly, pressure testing and inspection of company equipment.
* Have a complete awareness of Pressure Control Equipment and Down Hole Tools.
* Fault finding and trouble shooting.
* Ensure risk assessments are completed accurately.
* Ensure the workshop is kept organised and clean.
* Regularly communicate with the Test and Assembly team.
Essential Skills/ Qualifications:
* HNC/ HND in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant subject with proven experience in a similar role of at least 2 years.
* Working knowledge of Pressure Control Equipment and Downhole Tools.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
Personal Qualities:
* Excellent communication skills.
* Good collaborative team working skills.
* Pro-active and self-motivated.
* Hardworking and reliable.
* High standard of personal and process safety.
Rate:
* Up to £18ph - DOE
