Asset Manager- South of Aberdeen
The role of the Asset Manager within the Global Operations division is pivotal to the client. Leading a sizeable team, the Asset Manager is responsible for overseeing the clients Assets as well as the Onshore Service Technician personnel entrusted with the execution of maintenance, fault diagnosis and asset rectification.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
* Asset delivery: Of paramount importance is the Asset Manager's role in bridging operational activities with the project delivery teams of the client’s various service lines, ensuring assets are delivered demonstrably ready for use and in line with project specific requirements.
* Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS): The Asset Manager assumes ownership of the CMMS, driving its philosophy, implementation, and processes. Through the CMMS, the Asset Manager generates informative dashboards covering Asset Work Order Status, Asset Health, Downtime Analysis, Preventive Maintenance Schedule, Inventory Management, Resource Allocation, Cost Tracking, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Safety Metrics, Workforce Productivity, Spare Part Usage, and Trends and Analytics.
* Office 365 Suite: The Asset Manager is responsible for optimal management of operational data across the Office 365 suite. Proficiency in SharePoint, MS Teams, and MS Project for the Web is crucial, as these platforms are heavily utilised by client.
Line management responsibilities:
* Asset Team Leads: Overseeing the broader asset team and managing the day-to-day allocation and execution of work orders within the company’s asset fleet.
Requirements
Required:
* Experience: Demonstrable experience in Asset Management, or a related field.
* Proven Leadership: Demonstrable experience in leading and managing teams within an operational setting.
* Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of equipment maintenance, asset management, and operational processes.
* CMMS Proficiency: Proficient in utilising Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for data management and analysis.
* Safety Awareness: In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
* Budget Management: Experience in managing budgets and optimizing resource allocation to achieve cost-effective operations.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
* Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify challenges, implement solutions, and drive process improvements.
Preferred:
* Bachelor's degree: A bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field can enhance strategic thinking and leadership abilities.
* Industry Experience: Previous experience within the rental industry.
* Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional), or relevant safety certifications.
* Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies for informed decision-making and trend identification.
* Client Relationship Management: Previous success in managing client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
* Change Management: Experience in implementing and managing organizational change initiatives for process enhancements.
* Technology Integration: Familiarity with integrating innovative technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
* Quality Assurance: Experience in implementing and maintaining quality assurance standards within maintenance and operations.
