Leading the facilities team and fully supporting the Head of Manufacturing, you will be accountable for a small team of facilities team members, helping to maintain a well-kept, safe, secure, compliant, and efficient environment. This includes taking ownership of planned and reactive maintenance, implanting safe systems of works, financial management, project management and ensuring your team provide first class customer service.

As the

Facilities Team Leader

you would be responsible for

Leading and motivating a team to deliver the highest standard of customer service through regular one-on-ones, annual appraisals, and performance management.nConducting team briefings to update on best practice and ongoing expectations.

Typical

facilities management

activities include

Managing site buildings and maintaining an ongoing relationship with the landlord.nPreparing Health and Safety documentation for site improvements and liaising with other departments to meet all safety standards.nSourcing, Organising and Project Managing internal staff and 3rd party contractors for improvement and maintenance works.nMaintaining building services and infrastructure, staff amenities, and procuring all office equipment, as well as managing waste.nAssisting with risk assessments as required, developing and monitoring control measures, and progressing corrective actions through to acceptable resolution.nManaging the fire alarm systems ensure compliance and best practice.nAssisting Security with the Access Control System, arranging site passes, monitoring the CCTV system, and being the primary contact for the intruder alarm system (24/7).

An ideal candidate would be

Experienced in building maintenance, including pre-planned maintenance schedules, repair, and contractor management.nSkilled in defining and managing site safety protocols for fire and security, as well as providing comprehensive training for fire marshals and first aiders.nProficient in overseeing the safety and compliance of third-party contractors, including the review and approval of risk assessments and the monitoring of onsite activities.nExperienced in procuring new suppliers.nAdept of leading and managing a high performing team with strong organisation and prioritisation skills.nIOSH certified in Managing Safely.nAble to communicate at all levels through a variety or mediums.
