Stonegate Farmers are seeking Food Production Supervisor to join our team to efficiently supervise and lead a team in meeting all compliance targets whilst delivering to production KPIs.
This role will supervise and support Production Operatives with the handling and packaging of egg products for large retail and food service customers within a busy factory environment.

We deliver daily from hen houses right across the country to the most exclusive restaurants and to many of the UK’s leading supermarkets, together with first class egg products to some of the biggest names in food manufacturing.
Role & Responsibilities:
*
To assist in the completion of all orders set out on the plan, through the correct set up of all equipment on line & basic fault finding that could incur stoppages and hamper the success of the line. Chase any stoppages that may prevent the line from running i.e. product feed, tray or crate supply.
*
Products made must be produced to the agreed quality specification whilst ensuring that all staff are trained to produce quality products within the company’s health and safety rules and guidelines.
*
Ensure all documentation is accurately produced and audit ready in line with both internal and external procedures and standards.
*
Attainment to plan; Egg utilisation (best practice), quality, labour control, waste control, production downtime, utility usage, stock control and other measurements of efficiency.
*
Capable of leading a team effectively, by demonstrating the ability to cope well under pressure and with multiple demands. Supervise the day to day running of the team to ensure the KPI’s are met at all times.
*
Supervise and cover the day-to-day running of the department, ensuring it runs efficiently, to agreed parameters and KPI’s are met.
Person Specification
* Co-operates and works well with others in pursuit of team goals.
* Absorb instructions quickly and act on them effectively
* Work effectively when under pressure and in fast-paced environments
* Have good time management skills & be tolerant and patient with others.
Qualifications / Experience:
* Applicants MUST be able to reliably commute for this role.
* Previous experience in a leadership role within Production/Manufacturing environments is essential for this role.
* Previous Food Production experience is essential for this role.
* Previous Warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential for this role
