As the Global (Cross Divisional) lead on Employment Taxes, you will play a crucial role in advising and informing Flutter on significant Employment Tax risks. You will provide technical input and advice to the Group Reward, Payroll, and HR teams at both the Group and Divisional/Brand level. With one direct report, the Assistant Manager - Tax, you will collaborate closely to successfully implement employment tax reviews and filings.


As the Head of Employment Tax, you will have the opportunity to:
• Oversee key risk areas and drive projects to mitigate them
• Navigate tax technical issues during employee-related initiatives
• Advise on tax positions, share schemes, global mobility, and Group M&A activities
• Establish and maintain relationships with global tax authorities
• Implement policies to enhance the effectiveness of employment tax within the Group

Ideally to succeed in this position, you should have the following:
• Relevant tax qualification (CTA and/or ACA) and a minimum of 12 years of experience in employment tax.
• Expertise in tax regulations and practical experience will be crucial in guiding different teams. As a collaborative leader, you will work closely with others from various departments and effectively influence their decisions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with different teams are essential, as you will engage with executives from the Flutter Group and Divisional C-Suite, as well as the CPO and HR teams.
