RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a well-established Debt Recovery Agency situated in a scenic North Ayrshire location, working on behalf of blue-chip clients, assisting customers arrange affordable re-payment plans on their outstanding accounts.

During this exciting period of growth, we are currently recruiting for brand new Collections Agents to join our professional team of people who are passionate about meeting their targets, and our client’s high expectations.
We operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, which offers an insight into finance and business and with excellent in-house Training & Development Coaches, we provide full induction training and ongoing training to prepare our staff for further opportunities within the business.
Job Description:
Negotiate payment plans with customers

Complete affordability assessments with customers

Manage your own diary of customers and their arrangements

Liaise with customers via telephone on our inbound and outbound dialler

Handle customer queries or disputes appropriately

Investigate and resolve any account discrepancies

Update status of accounts and update customer databases accordingly

Comply with company policies and regulatory requirements on every call
The ideal candidate for this role will:
Be an excellent listener and communicator

Have strong customer service skills

Be able to work effectively as part of a team

Be able to build rapport with a diverse range of customers

Be self-motivated

Work well to targets
Desired but not Essential:
PC literate, alongside excellent typing skills

SCQF Level 4 (or equivalent) Maths

SCQF Level 4 (or equivalent) English
Working Hours: Full-time and Part-time shifts available. Operating hours are Monday-Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday 9am-4pm, closed Sunday.
3 WEEK ROTATION (may be subject to change) 
Week 1, 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday.

Week 2, 10am-6pm, excluding the Monday is 9am-6pm and a Saturday 9am – 4pm with a day off mid-week.

Week 3, 12pm – 8pm Monday to Friday.
Please note that during the training period, you’ll be required to work Monday to Friday 9-5 based at our office.
