Salary - £15.14 overtime after 50 hours is paid at 1.5X with a £25 night out allowance
Location - Darlington, DL1
Job Type - Temporary, Adhoc, Weekly bookings
Shifts - Monday Friday, 0400 starts.
Manpower are currently recruiting for Class 1 Tramper Drivers based out of Darlington for one of our National logistics clients.
We have opportunities available immediately for our client who are holding assessments this month. You will be tramping Monday - Friday collecting and delivering to other depots and stores across the country.
What you'll do on a typical day:
You will be safely driving HGV Class 1 Vehicles in a courteous manner
All deliveries must be tracked and signed for using Epod technology
Sleeping in vehicle overnight
Heavy lifting required so must be physically fitWhat we'll need from you:
Class 1 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
No more than 6 penalty points on licence
Strong communication and teamwork skills
The knowledge and initiative to solve basic problems and make routine decisions
The ability to complete paperwork in an orderly fashion
A minimum of 6 months experience is preferred in HGV drivingBenefits:
