Casual Driver Work

We are currently looking to recruit casual/ad-hoc Class 1 Drivers in and around the Darlington Area for temporary cover and cover shifts for our client base.

Assignment locations include:

* Bishop Aukland

* Shildon

* Newton Aycliffe

* Catterick

* Darlington

Due to the nature of the work, this would suit a driver who is looking for extra shifts/looking for part-time hours. We are keen to speak to experience HGV drivers as our clients insurance policies often require at least 1 years experience.

Work can vary from trunk runs, multi-drop, tramping etc. So flexibility is required.

Some assignments may include handball so a level of fitness would be advantageous (the work details will always be discussed before hand)

Skills and Qualifications

* Valid driver CPC qualification

* Valid driver tachograph card

* No More than 6 points / No Major Endorsements

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.

* at least 12 months CE / Class 1 driving experience
