Excellent opportunity for AWS Cloud Product Analyst/Consultant to be part of our Cloud Infrastructure & Security services practice. Cognizant Infrastructure Services – Provides IT infrastructure & Cloud services for clients across industry verticals, including both Consulting/Professional and Managed Services, across Enterprise Computing, Cloud services, Security Services, DevOps, Data Centres, End User Computing, Service Desk, Network Services and Environment Management Services.


Key Responsibilities :


  1. Responsible for requirement gathering, engage with stakeholders towards building a successful product Primary day to day
  2. Responsibility is to detail functional and non-functional requirements produce and maintain product artefacts, analysing Qualitative and quantitative data, to drive business outcomes.
  3. Responsible to work as a systems or product analyst or business analyst, while managing client stakeholders.
  4. Responsible in producing product artefacts based on a solution design to affect changes to business systems, following agile methods.
  5. Obtaining and interpreting user requirements and priorities.
  6. The AWS Product Analyst is responsible for the analysis and design of AWS Cloud components and services collaborating with project Business Analysts, business SMEs, and Product Group Product Architects to translate business and application requirements into infrastructure requirements for Cloud DevOps Engineers to deliver.
  7. Interpretation of a product’s business requirements, solution design, and Cloud infrastructure capability requirements to deliver refined backlog consisting of robust and traceable technical / system requirements, in line with architecture and design standards.
  8. Producing detailed technical/system functional and non-functional requirements that are aligned to practice standards, including integration and platform alignment to meet agreed acceptance / definition of ready criteria.
  9. Review and quality assure artefacts (code and/or configuration changes) created by external suppliers and internal teams ensuring the quality of the delivered solution to fulfil business and non-functional requirements and adherence to technical designs.
  10. Writing high quality features and user stories that the development team can deliver against.



Key Skills and experience :


• Experience in AWS cloud technologies and services

• Experience in Cloud Infrastructure Technology Services.

• An up-to-date understanding of best practice in technical design and build for cloud infrastructure services

• Ability to interpret and apply business design and functional requirements

• Experience with formal development methodologies (e.g. Prince2, RUP, Scrum, Agile)

• An opportunity to gain an in-depth insight into regulated industries and relevant regulations

• Familiarity of using backlog tools such as JIRA

• Working experience in Agile methodologies & agile ceremonies


Practitioner knowledge in AWS cloud technology, system delivery experience, good communication skills, produce technical/system functional and non-functional requirements that are aligned to meet agreed acceptance/ definition of ready criteria.

  • Desirable experience in Knowledge of data science tools, data analytics, technical & functional understanding of design and build of IT systems, produce and maintain
  • product artefact s, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to drive business outcomes.
  • Tooling, Jira, ServiceNow, Visio, Tableau, knowledge of developer tools and IDEs
  • Good to have experience in AWS core services, Data Analytics tools, R and Python language, application support process, technical documentation, design software solutions.
  • Experience of working in AWS Cloud environment and delivery of IT products using Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Working attitude with ‘product-first’, constantly improve the product quality and support.
