Role: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Trafford
Do you have experience of working with and supporting secondary age pupils?
Are you familiar with working with students with autism?
If so, this may be the role for you.
Qualiteach is looking to recruit an experienced learning support assistant for a specialist provision based in the Trafford area. The role will start on 02/09/2024 and is offered on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year.
The position will involve helping and supporting secondary age pupils with autism. You will be working in small groups and on a 1-1 basis with certain students. Personality is key and you will need to have an empathetic, nurturing and supportive nature.
Key requirements:
* Previous experience working with secondary age pupils
* Knowledge of working in a special school/ PRU/AP
* Experience of working with pupils with autism
* Ability to build rapport quickly
* Supportive and understanding nature
* Available from 02/09/2024
* Hold right to work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
