Cognizant is seeking Deskside Support/Site Support Engineers for our Infrastructure Services Practice. Cognizant Infrastructure Services – Provides IT infrastructure & Cloud services for clients across industry verticals, including both Consulting/Professional and Managed Services, across Enterprise Computing, Cloud, Data Centres, DevOps, End User Computing, Service Desk, Network Services and Environment Management Services.

Key ResponsibilitiesnConfigure, troubleshoot, isolate, repair, and resolve all customer desktop issues including desktop/laptop hardware and software, mobile devices, printer/scanners/copiers, audio visual equipment, hardware peripherals and other desktop related equipmentnPrimarily responsible for working day to day user support activities, as well as supporting system maintenance activities such as – application bug fix, and project deployment support.nTroubleshoot and repair desktop computers tenure they interconnect seamlessly with multiple systems including network drives and all business productivity applicationsnTroubleshoot application issues ,Resolve users’ IT issues related to Desktops, Laptops, Windows / MAC operating systems, Printer setup, Resolve printer issuesnWork independently troubleshoot all support requests and follow escalation policiesnResponsible for computer hardware builds and maintaining inventory for computers ready deploynProvide support to VIP business users, establish and maintain a positive professional relationship with users and clientsnParticipate in testing, documentation and implementation of assigned projectsnExecution of GxP-related activities in adherence to standard operating proceduresnAdditional duties as and when required, travel to other sites as required

Essential Skills:nDesktop operation and support Installation, configuration, administration and maintenance of ongoing usability of desktop, computers, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelinesnWorks with vendor support contacts resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and softwarenRecommends and / or performs upgrades on systems ensure longevity; Works with procurement staff purchase hardware and softwarenFlexible to travel and should have Driving LicensenAssesses functional needs determine specifications for purchases; Orders computer suppliesnWindows 7 & Windows 10 Operating systems, MAC background, Printers troubleshooting knowledge & O365 / Adobe / Skype / MS Teams troubleshootingnExperience in Pharma/Life science industry or other regulated environmentnExperience in VIP Support/Concierge
