About the Opportunity:
They are looking for an Senior Bookkeeper to join their exciting team.
On average, small business owners spend 10 hours per month on bookkeeping. This is 120 hours a year – equating to 15 full working days Furthermore, businesses can save up to 40% of their current accountancy costs through outsourcing bookkeeping.

About the Responsibilities:
* Managing workflow to meet deadlines
* Managing a small team of 2 bookkeepers
* Accurate recording of all financial transactions through ledger postings, nominal journals, bank reconciliations etc
* Processing client records to software including QuickBooks & Xero
* Calculate & make adjustments for depreciation, prepayments, accruals & tax provision
* Payroll
* File VAT returns with HMRC & within accounting data
About the Applicant:
Determination and drive to continually improve processes and working techniques
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance workloads to manage the needs of various clients
* AAT level 4 or ACCA PQ or ACA PQ
* Attention to detail is essential
* The ability to remain calm under pressure
* Proactive and willing to take on increased responsibility
* Xero software experience
* Great communication skills
* A ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to seek answers
