We have a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Chef to work FIVE Days a week 8 hours a day, ongoing placement in a care home.

Do you love working in a care home, providing healthy, balanced cuisine for the elderly?

Then this role is for you

The Chef will be responsible for maintaining high standards in all kitchen areas. The Chef should be competent in all aspects of kitchen duties and able to produce a variety of menus for residents based on their dietary requirements, maintain stock levels, order supplies, work to a budget, and complete monthly audits.

About You:

  • You must have experience working in a commercial kitchen environment, ideally within a care home setting, but this is not essential.
  • You should have an NVQ2 in Catering and Hospitality or Professional Cookery and a minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Must have an Enhanced DBS Clearance
  • You will have strong leadership skills, be reliable, and be fully competent in all aspects of kitchen duties.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • 5 days a week
  • Weekend availability.
