Control Panel Operative – Agriculture
If you’re a skilled operative with experience in the operation of control panels within an aggregate, cement, agriculture, grain or conveyor line then we would love to hear from you A unique role that involves transportation of grain around the stores through use of control panels this Stores Operative role is a niche role suited to those with transferable skills. Due to the nature of this role being highly seasonal you must be willing and prepared to work evenings and weekends during seasonal peak periods.
Location: Linton, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Monday – Friday 6am – 2pm, or 10am – 6pm, fluctuating 12 hours per day during harvest, 8 hours per day outside of harvest
Hourly Rate / Salary: £15 - £17 per hour

This role will entail:
* Monitor and control of all stock movements across the site from the control room
* Operate control panel and LV fans for movement and drying of grain
* Monitor produce in silos and flat stores using monitoring equipment
* Temperature checks
* Checking for contamination from insects
* Operate the mobile plant without supervision
* Undertake stock level checks
* Loading and unloading of deliveries
* Ability to fault find any issues within the plant
* Undertake minor maintenance tasks
* Operation of driers safely and efficiently
What we need from you:
* Able to work to strict timescales
* Flexibility for working additional hours during the harvest season
* Basic maintenance skills
* Experience of driving various mobile plant
