Integrated Service Solutions Ltd (ISS) is an innovative service provider operating primarily within the Fresh Produce sector in the UK. We operate independently, with the opportunity to draw on the expertise and network of the Terradace Group of which we are part.
Since inception in 2014, ISS has experienced phenomenal growth. With annual revenues in excess of £60 million, and having established a strong market position, we now employ over 1,000 people operating across three sites across Kent: a 120,000 sq.ft site at Teynham the primary site for the business, a 74,000 sq.ft site at Linton added in 2020 and a 130,000 sq ft site in Sittingbourne acquired in 2022.

We are now looking for an **Intake QC ** to join us at our Linton site.
**Role Summary**:
Ensure all product arriving on site is checked against customer requirements and reported accurately.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Ensure that all arrivals are inspected as per the relevant intake protocol
- Ensure that all aspects of product quality are accurately reported to the customers and business
- Ensure that any temperature abuse or other issues that can seriously affect product quality are immediately reported to the customer.
- Effectively communicate to customers where necessary
- To work safely and report any hazards or near misses to a Key Operative or Production Support Manager.
- To work efficiently and effectively ensuring that you contribute to the daily Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) of the department as set by the Intake & Ripening Manager and the needs of the business.
- To maintain high levels of hygiene and housekeeping through the clean as you go policy.
- To clearly communicate between all colleagues in your team and your Line Manager in a timely manner.

Pay: £12.00-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 38.61 per week
