Position Overview:
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding the market presence within the aerospace, defence, and space sectors. Your primary focus will be on selling our cutting-edge mechanically engineered solutions to key players in these industries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives and sales targets within the aerospace, defence, and space sectors.
* Identify and engage with potential clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
* Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
* Present and demonstrate our advanced mechanical engineering solutions to prospective clients, highlighting their value and benefits.
* Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to develop customised solutions that meet client specifications and requirements.
* Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
* Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management.
* Selling have value low volume products via a consultative solution driven sales process.
Qualifications:
* Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management within the aerospace, defence, or space industries.
* Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and cutting-edge technologies. Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
