Typically operating as a Principal Contractor, we deliver design & build projects up to £20M in value across multiple Frameworks and Competitively won projects.
Due to increased revenues, and a secure order book strethcing into 2026, we are looking to add a Project Manager to our team, overseeing a large marine sheet piling project in Suffolk.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Taking total ownership from cradle to grave of projects - taking them through from enquiry to successful handover and completion.
• Leading by example, encouraging the team to take responsibility for safety of colleagues, themselves, and clients.
• Ensuring projects are completed under price, to prescribed timescales and required quality whilst effectively managing safety, environment and where appropriate heritage issues.
• Liaison with all stakeholders to plan and sequence project activities, milestones and resources. Liaise with the various Land & Water teams to ensure all contract obligations are delivered.
• Identifying and managing project Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and milestones ensuring factors do not cause delay or become critical to the delivery of the project or associated programme of work.
To be successful in this role it is anticipated that you will:
• Have proven experience of managing multiple high complexity projects within the relevant discipline. Experience of managing projects £10m plu value.
• Hold a degree (or equivalent) in a related engineering/construction discipline, ideally Civil Engineering.
• Chartership with the ICE would be a nice to have, although by no means essential so don’t be put off applying.
• Have good knowledge of all aspects of successful project delivery gained in the infrastructure/civil engineering sector
• Have excellent commercial awareness and proven experience of delivering profitable works
• Have a clean driving licence and a willingness to travel across the region
