Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Laing O'Rourke. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of our projects, working closely with our Principal Engineer and Senior Engineers to ensure the successful completion of tasks and projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of Senior Engineers and sub-contractors to deliver projects safely and effectively.
- Utilize digital engineering models to provide information for Visual Method Statements and Visual Task sheets.
- Implement and ensure compliance with the LOR Management of Temporary Works procedure on projects.
- Determine the most appropriate methods of dimensional control and ensure setting out data is controlled.
- Interrogate and transfer setting out data from 3D CAD data.
- Determine the requirement for and format of as-built surveys and reports.
- Produce and/or ensure that ITP's are produced, available and implemented.
- Ensure that project and company quality procedures are adhered to.
- Utilize and recommend best engineering methods.
- Design process knowledge.
- Produce and approve method statements and risk assessments.
- Procurement.
- Degree in Civil Engineering Discipline, other construction related degree, or an industry recognised technical or engineering qualification (e.g. HNC, HND, NVQ level 4) plus demonstrable experience in a construction delivery environment.
- Professionally qualified/chartered by a recognised body.
- Extensive Rail project experience.
