This supply teaching position involves covering short-term and long-term absences within secondary schools across Bristol. Aspire People has established strong relationships with many schools in the Bristol area, offering numerous opportunities for Secondary teachers seeking part-time or full-time work. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to our supply teaching staff, offering competitive rates of pay. Rates range from £130 to £220 per day for full duties in long-term positions.
We work around your needs and circumstances Whether you seek full-time, long-term work, or prefer to work on specific days of the week, we will accommodate your schedule. You choose when and where you want to teach We tailor job placements to fit your preferences.
Responsibilities:
- KS3 and KS4 Teaching: Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of the subject matter among students.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum, ensuring alignment with current educational developments and the needs of our diverse student body.
- Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid their academic development.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching at both KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Strong knowledge of educational principles and current developments in the field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative mindset and adaptability in a team-oriented teaching environment.
- Provide an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
- Ensure your CV covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
Candidates will have the opportunity to work with market disrupters and the new kid on the block company, Aspire People.
