The RolenThe role of Test Analyst will work as a part of a team of Analysts to manage detailed UAT and functional testing of Argentex’s comprehensive in-house built CRM, execution, settlements and pricing platform.

Key Responsibilities:nDevelop and deliver structured testing methodologies for both internal and client-facing products.nSupport developers with effective and targeted testing of new functionality, as well as more generalised regression testing.nEngage with the business to champion multi-team involvement in User Acceptance Testing and signoff, including creating test scopes and supervising the creation of test cases.nEnsure visibility of test progress and outcomes (via project management tools e.g. Azure DevOps or Jira)nSelect and implement automated UI test frameworks (e.g. Cypress or Selenium) where appropriate and beneficial to reduce manual steps.nParticipate in Agile ceremonies (e.g. morning standups, sprint planning, refinement sessions, sprint retrospectives etc).nDevelop and execute both manual and automated front end test plans as well as create and maintain relevant test data.nQuality assurance

Skills, Knowledge & BehavioursnMust have:nOutstanding communication and presentation skills with an ability to engage with business users and software developers alike.nUnderstanding of Agile testing including TDD, BDD and CD.nRisk focused; ability to evaluate and mitigate the various risks associated with the business environment and the project delivery.nSome experience of automated UI testing frameworks (e.g. Cypress or Selenium)nDelivery focused and able to meet deadlines, happy to challenge and prioritise appropriately.nDemonstrable ability to produce detailed test cases and documentation.nExperience with project management or ticket tracking tools e.g. JIRA or Azure DevOps.nCritical thinking, keen eye for detail, problem solving.nAt least 12 months’ practical experience in the same, or a similar, role.

Nice to have:nTechnical capability – not required to a high level, but a stand-out candidate would understand relational databases and the ability to query them with SQL or visual tools such as tableau.nFX markets experience – spot, forward and options.nUnderstanding of payment flows and SWIFT.nExperience using Postman.nISTQB Certified (Level 1).nUnderstanding of testing design patterns such as the page object model.
