Are you passionate about computing and eager to share your expertise with others? We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Computer Science Tutor to join our team. As a Computer Science Tutor, you will have the opportunity to inspire and guide students in their exploration of the dynamic world of technology and computer science.nYou will work with colleagues across the Centre to ensure the effective delivery of teaching programmes on the Computing, Engineering and Science pathway, in line with our teaching, learning and assessment strategy, broader scholarship and aims for an outstanding student experience. You will also contribute directly to student support and to the development and implementation of innovative teaching practices across the Centre. As a tutor, you will contribute to the design, development and production of teaching and learning materials, across a range of programmes at various RQF levels.nThe purpose of the role is to deliver highly effective modules at International Foundation Year (Pre Undergraduate, level 3) and Pre-Masters (post-graduate, level 6). Durham University International Study Centre programmes cover the following subject areas:nFoundation: Computer Science and ProgrammingnPre-Masters: Data Science

ABOUT THE ROLEnDelivering modules (online and face-to-face) to international students studying on programmes offered by the Centre and assisting with the development of modules.nDeveloping modules from module specifications. This will include schemes of learning along with appropriate development of learning resources.nPreparing module examinations and other forms of formative and summative assessment, marking and providing feedback to students.nAssisting with the development and maintenance of the Centre’s virtual learning environment (VLE).
