Given the breadth of our business and scale of our transformation, we will organise our Transformation team around three domains:
  • Channels focus on end-to-end customer journey, engage to sell, to delight and surprise customers with inventive experiences and a power brand.
  • Commercials deliver the full lifecycle of order to receipt/ concept to store and the capability to support Primark growth ambitions.
  • Enterprise teams enable the business to scale operations efficiently while reinforcing Primark DNA through leading colleague experiences and ESG programmes.
The business is seeking to recruit an experienced Change Partner to support the planning, driving, and governing of the transformation agenda within their respective domain.

What You’ll Do:
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
  • Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive transformation strategy for the respective domain you are partnered with.
  • Support the Change Leads in the preparation and delivery of the Change Pipeline planning process for your domain
  • Work in conjunction with strategic planning functions (Portfolio Team, plus functional planning teams e.g. Technology Portfolio and Retail Ops) to advise on impact of multiple projects across the colleagues and business
  • Provide guidance to the programme change team on the strategies directive of the project
  • Review Change strategic plan and materials to ensure the approach aligns with the business direction and other initiatives.
  • Embrace our culture of change across Primark using data, models, frameworks, tools and innovative techniques.
  • Working with business stakeholders, create and refine change management strategies aligned to strategic transformation priorities, their communities (i.e., functions in their domain) and business needs.
  • Working with the Change Lead and business stakeholders to create and refine change management approaches and plans aligned to key projects and business needs.
  • Prepare summaries and analyse specific challenges, change context, climate and capacity to implement and adopt new ways of working.
  • Partner collaboratively with P&C (and others) to ensure alignment across communications, operational training and delivery.

  • Experience of working within one or more of the functional areas in the domain is a distinct advantage and will ensure that the successful candidate approaches the role already understanding the intricacies and hand-offs from function to the next.
  • Candidates must also have demonstrable experience of supporting the delivery of significant business transformations within these areas covering the entire transformation process from the shaping of the roadmap through to benefits realisation.
  • For the Channels role, this expertise must include a deep knowledge of at least two of the following business functions:
  • Retail store management & group retail operations, International Expansion, Marketing & Brand, Digital, E-Commerce, Customer Service & Support
  • Key business capabilities include: Front of Store Operations, Payments, Customer Intelligence, Loyalty & Rewards, Campaign Mgt, New Business Development, New Market Entry.
