Stylist is looking for a Stylist+ Editor to join the editorial team.

An exciting opportunity has risen for a talented editor to join Stylist’s team as Stylist+ Editor, overseeing the premium paywalled content within Stylist.co.uk.

Reporting to the Digital Content Director and working closely with the magazine Editor and Editorial Director, you will bring experience leading a content strategy for a digital publication and driving subscription growth through exceptional editorial content.

This role demands an analytical approach to spearhead the execution of Stylist's paywall content strategy combined with outstanding organisation skills, a healthy love for data and a deep understanding of what our audience wants from paywall content.

The successful candidate will also have an instinctive understanding of how to serve the Stylist reader and will uphold our purpose to help women through the work that we do. An understanding of the topics that appeal to our audience – from feminism through to fashion – is also essential, as is the ability to create, commission and edit outstanding content.

What to expect:nWorking with the Stylist+ team and alongside the broader Stylist editorial team, you'll be at the forefront of shaping the paywalled content strategy on a weekly basis, deciding what will be published and when and ensuring our ambitious growth targets are being hit day-in, day-out with analytical oversight. You will attend senior leadership meetings, report on editorial insight, and should be comfortable with advising other parts of the business in digital and paywall best practice if needed.

Essential:nWell-versed in digital SEO skills and a knowledge of social media to ensure all content is reaching the target audience as required.nAs comfortable commissioning and editing copy as you are in GA4.nThe ability to work collaboratively and creatively with the wider editorial team.nTo be well-organised and able to juggle lots of different deadlines whilst working at pace.nKnowledge and experience of digital programs and analytics.nAccuracy and attention to detail

Responsibilities:nTo oversee the output of Stylist’s paywall content, leading the execution of our digital strategy and working with the paywall content team to ensure everything meets the high standards held by Stylist.nTo generate concepts for Stylist’s weekly digital magazine.nTo manage the Stylist+ team as well as supporting the wider editorial team as and when is needed.nTo foster a deep understanding of subscriber preferences and behaviours, utilising insights to enhance user engagement and satisfaction within the paywall ecosystem.nTo be adept at spotting new trends and conversation points as they emerge, and make sure
