Concierge - Night Shift

Are you a friendly person who loves talking to and meeting people? I have an exciting opportunity for a professional personable, and organised concierge (night shifts) to join the Property Team, of a luxury student accommodation provider. The company is ambitious, thriving and has an innovative and inclusive spirit.
Only apply if you can work 12-hour shifts - 8:00 pm - 8:00 am, 4-on-4-off rota pattern (including weekends and bank holidays).
The role's key purpose is to support the residents as you will be the first point of contact. You will go above and beyond to deliver excellent resident service.
What you’ll be doing:
Providing a practical and timely solution to residents’ problems, which may include communicating maintenance issues with your colleagues.nHelping out with parcels and post queries.nLoaning out items – e.g. hoovers, fans, ironing boards etc.nHelping to run our social events – together with their university partnersnAssisting contractors, visitors and our university partners with their requirements.nCarrying out checks and building walks – logging all your observations on an iPad.nInspecting the communal areas, the lifts and the corridors, and residents’ kitchens (before their check-out).nCarrying out a room inspection or showing a potential resident one of our suites or studios.nSupporting onboarding of new colleagues into the team; answering questions and sharing your knowledge.nTo join in and speak up, making a constructive contribution at the monthly team meetings.nLearn about the different processes and how they keep their residents and colleagues safe.nRespectful of people’s privacy and personal information – you will be trained on all aspects of GDPR.nDealing with issues or incidents and calling the emergency services when needed.
Due to the nature of our business and this specific role, there are other ad-hoc tasks that occur throughout the annual lifecycle – this list is not exhaustive.

You’ll enjoy providing a warm welcome to visitors, parents/ carers, residents, couriers and contractors their properties.nEngaging and want to help the residents have the best experience ever.nGood common sense and are eager to help and find solutions.nTake pride in your appearance and how you communicate with others.nOrganised and work through a list of set tasks within a certain time frame.nCan you speak other languages? An amazing bonus as 80% of their residents are international.nExcellent timekeepingnFlexible in your approach to work tasks. This will help support other property teams.nGood level of computer literacy.
