We have an exciting opportunity for a Meeting and Events Sales Advisor to join our client’s team.
Our client is currently looking to recruit a full-time Meetings and Events Sales Advisor for their beautiful hotel near Liphook.

Your role as a Meeting and Events Sales Advisor
* You must have experience in a similar environment and role.
* Processing enquiries, converting into contracted bookings, and coordinating event requirements for all event types.
* Conduct on site ‘Show-Rounds’ with prospective customers.
* Attend all relevant internal meetings e.g. Weekly Operations Meeting.
* Create, implement, and review standards, procedures and processes.
* Ensure accuracy and attention to detail is applied to all events and enquiries.
* Monitoring enquiry chases, conversion and turn downs to ensure the events diary is being managed efficiently.
* Ensure all prospective clients and guests are met face to face when arriving and departing.
* Have a thorough understanding of sales targets, KPIs and revenue strategy, as set out by the Director of Sales and Head of Revenue.
* Ensure open and clear communication between M&E team and other hotel departments.
* To maintain good interdepartmental communications, ensure teamwork and positive relationships with co-workers and management.
The successful Meeting and Sales Advisor must:
* Experience working in a similar role
* Have a can-do attitude.
* Work well in team.
* Be a strong team player willing to lend a hand wherever needed.
* Be highly attentive to detail and be capable of delivering consistent standards •
* Have good knowledge of IT applications i.e. Opera, Ivvy or other M&E system, Word, Excel etc .
* Have strong people/negotiation skills.
