Supporting Fire Risk Assessments and scoping remedial works, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
-
Providing expert advice on structural alterations, party wall matters, and property-related disputes.
-
Working with the Development Team on post-inspections, snagging, and defect management.
-
Supporting junior colleagues and inspectors in their professional development.
This is a pivotal role where your technical expertise, project management skills, and ability to work collaboratively will be key to our success.

-
Qualifications: A Building Surveying, Construction, or Engineering qualification (diploma, HNC, degree) with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience. Professional accreditation (RICS, CIOB, or RIBA) is desirable.
-
Experience: Proven expertise in building surveys, defect diagnosis, and managing contractors and budgets. Experience with planned maintenance and JCT contracts is a plus.
-
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with housing legislation, CDM regulations, Decent Homes standards, and HHSRS assessments.
-
Skills: Strong communication (written and verbal), time management, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in MS Office and asset management tools.
-
Flexibility: A methodical approach and adaptability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
-
A valid driving license and access to a vehicle (insured for business use).
Why Join Us?
At Paradigm, we’re more than a housing provider – we’re a team dedicated to making a difference. When you join us, you’ll benefit from:
-
A supportive team environment, led by an experienced Chartered Surveyor.
-
The opportunity to work on varied and impactful projects.
-
Competitive salary and a range of excellent benefits, including flexible working.
-
