Job Title:            FLOW Team leader, Attendance Lead and Deputy DSL
Location:           The Grange Therapeutic School, Oakham
Salary:                £34,048.31 per annum
Hours:                37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm
Contract:            Permanent, Term-time only

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a FLOW Team leader, Attendance Lead and Deputy DSL to join our close-knit team at The Grange Therapeutic School located in Oakham.
About the Role
In this role you will lead the FLOW team in their daily duties and support their professional development. You will also lead on Safeguarding in the absence of the lead DSL and be responsible for the data input for attendance, attendance records and reporting.
Responsibilities
Ensure all pupil attendance is accurately recorded 
Ensure accuracy of medical information on school systems.
Duties 
Implement recording, filing and control processes that ensure accurate and timely information is provided 
Ensure correspondence is handled in a timely and appropriate manner and that good relations are maintained with parents, local authorities and other bodies
Respond to e-mails, letters and telephone enquiries ensuring that all enquiries are dealt with in a professional and sensitive manner
Assist school staff and managers in dealing with correspondence, requests for information, organising and scheduling visits
Support and assist in the preparation of routine and monthly reports, particularly attendance
Person Specification
Essential skills and competencies:
Must be experienced and accomplished in the use of office software including Word, Power Point and Outlook 
Excellent customer care skills
Able to deal with enquiries, correspondence and reports dealing with complex educational and professional issues
Good standard of presentation and inter-personal skills – able to act as a reliable and effective first point of contact 
Sound organisational and planning skills and a flexible approach
Able to provide accurate reports and maintain electronic and manual data systems.
Full driving licence
