Full job description

Aramark UK is looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Deputy Hospitality Manager to join the fantastic team at Uppingham School, LE15 9QB. This is an exciting, permanent and full time opportunity reporting into our Hospitality Manager on site and will assume responsibility for leading the team and delivering a high quality, and consistent hospitality services across a diverse and complex operation including 15 student boarding houses, extensive internal hospitality, sports events and match tea’s, events and conferencing.

This is an interim role to cover maternity leave with an ideal start date of August 5for an estimated duration of 9-12 months. This is a brand new opportunity to join the team at the start of an exciting journey

A day in the life of a Deputy Hospitality Manager:  

To ensure that the standards, service and guest experience meet expectation at all times within the Hospitality Department Reviewing and improvement planning where necessary  To set objectives and be responsible for the day-to-day operational running of the location, to ensure that it effectively meets the need of the location To assess employee performance and recognise training needs and potential as appropriate To monitor the quality control of the FOH team  To assist the Hospitality Manager to develop and evolve all client’s services at location, ensuring regular adjustments and improvements are both recommended and implemented  To ensure that customers are given a prompt and efficient service and expectations are consistently exceeded To regularly monitor customer feedback and produce a suitable action plan based on the results To ensure all food is presented and served in line with company standards, using innovation in the method and style of presentation and food service To ensure that you deliver what you promise to the customer, client, and team To ensure that all agreed service objectives are met in line with client expectations

 

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

Strong hospitality background Strong stakeholder management experience and the ability to build relationships Able to lead a team of c5 employees Drivers licence
