Job Description

PMX is the trading, investment, and commercial arm of Publicis Media. PMX is designed to support and provide market-leading capabilities for Publicis Media’s agency brands; Zenith, Starcom, and Spark Foundry.


PMX guarantees safe and effective media investment for our clients with premium publishers and platforms that help businesses grow. Our client-led planning approach, insight, and leverage drive our unrivalled negotiation strategy. The UK team comprises over 300 investment specialists, embedded within each agency, powered by a central team of excellence including programmatic, data, negotiation, product development, and market insight. PMX thrives on an entrepreneurial spirit and a persistent need to innovate and improve what we do for our clients.

The Account Director for Display is a key point of contact for Clients and Planning Teams and will help to oversee the day-to-day planning and buying processes for YouTube and Programmatic media. This is an opportunity to work on a high profile account, with big budgets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management and effective implementation of programmatic and digital display media plans, including developing recommendations, execution details and budgets.
  • Supporting in delivering against client audits and agency trading deals.
  • Establish a strong client relationship, manage clients’ requests appropriately, and deliver presentations and meetings effectively
  • Mentorship to Investment Executive team members, providing training and support on the end-to-end process from campaign planning through to PCA.
  • Ensure best practices and processes across all buying, campaign implementation and finance.
  • Stay abreast of all market developments and filter knowledge to relevant members of the team. 
Qualifications
  • Expert knowledge of the programmatic and digital display market landscape, actively shared with clients, team, and wider agency.
  • Competent in daily tools including but not exclusive to eTelmar, Jet, Prisma, and DDS.
  • Demonstrate a high standard of planning and buying, delivering market-leading pricing, service levels, and campaign effectiveness
  • The ability to build strong relationships across all disciplines, Planning, Clients, Media Owners, Auditors, Investment Director, and Group Trading Director
  • An in-depth understanding of client business objectives and how to achieve them.
  • Oversee high quality and control standards for Investment Executives. Guide in deck creation, reporting, and PCA writing. Share knowledge and inspire team innovation.
