Born in 1971, Sunglass Hut started as a small family business running a kiosk in a Miami mall. After 50 years and over 3,000 stores worldwide, we’re celebrating where we’ve been and where we’re going – bringing that same family feel and welcoming spirit as the very first kiosk to our stores today.nThis position is based at Gatwick Airport, managing two very successful stores.
Job Scope and Main ResponsibilitiesnA Store Manager oversees all aspects of store operations, including sales, profitability, recruiting, maintenance, and inventory control as well as ensuring excellent customer service is delivered. A store manager is expected to improve the overall business performance and achieve objectives through effective management, leadership, and development of the people in their team. As a EssilorLuxottica ambassador the store manager will role model the EssilorLuxottica values and the Sunglass Hut culture.
ResponsibilitiesnOversee the store’s day-to-day operations.nEnsure all KPI targets and expectations are delivered.nEnsure costs are kept to a minimum and stock loss is in within company guidelines.nRegularly analyses sales performance, maximising strengths and reviewing poor performance to establish an action plan for improvementnTo follow all company policy and procedures to ensure safety and security of the businessnNetwork effectively with internal and external stakeholdersnKeep abreast of and be knowledgeable of competitor activitynDeliver memorable customer service and exceptional product knowledgenMaintain inspiring visual merchandising in store as per guidelinesnEnsuring that the store is always on top of the competition by being commercially focusednRecruit, lead, motivate and inspire your team to succeed in storenCreate an engaging and positive working environmentnEstablish a store culture that embraces diversity and maximises the learnings from a diverse teamnLead store team to deliver brand story (and Sunglass Hut experience, if applicable) through effective store managementnSet and execute sales performance goals to increase profitabilitynHire, train, and assess store employee's productivity and performance
