CIVIL DESIGN ENGINEER / SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER - HOUSE BUILDING SECTOR I'm excited to he supporting this fantastic house builder as they grow their technical team. There are 2 roles - 1x Civil Design Engineer and 1x Senior Design Engineer The purpose of each role is to provide engineering design and technical support for the region. You'll be responsible for preparing site civil designs from viability to final consents, assisting in managing external Engineering consultants and service providers to deliver new sites for the region within both tight time and financial constraints. In these roles you will: Participate in the site evaluation process and provide viable solutions to Engineering problems so the project remains within budget and the construction team can maintain the programme Assist in running projects from initial site identification or from Planning Approval Stage, you will procure the Engineering package & consents via both inhouse design and consultant co-ordination. Co-ordinate/check and issue information which enables on time site commencement and delivery You should have: Minimum HND Civil Engineering Experience in the residential / house building sector (2 years for Engineer, 5 years for Senior Engineer) My client is happy to consider candidates currently working within civil design consultancy who are looking to move into a developer role.
