KPMS has been operating children and young people’s services since 2006, focusing on supporting our residents in recovering from adverse childhood experiences to lead independent and safe lives. We specialise in risk management for young people with complex needs. We believe that children have a better chance of success when they have the skills and resources to navigate the next stages of their lives. Joseph House aims to offer innovative, high-quality residential care to children and young people in a nurturing, understanding and safe environment.
We are looking for a skilled and committed Registered Manager to join our team at our new children’s home ‘Joseph House’ in Camden. You will have the unusual opportunity to be part of the founding team that shapes the future of the home. This innovative service has been fully refurbished to a high standard and is focused on delivering collaborative, psychologically informed care to children and young people.
Candidate criteria
We are looking for people who align with our core values. We want to create a team of practitioners who demonstrate the following:

In addition to demonstrating our values, candidates will also have:
* Recent experience as a Registered Manager or experienced Deputy Manager in a Children's Home
* Experience of working effectively with young people, with a range of social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties
* Level 5 in Leadership and Management (for those with exceptional experience, we will consider supporting candidates to achieve this as part of their role)
* Excellent IT, literacy and numeracy skills
Salary and benefits
Starting salary between £75,000 and £80,000 per annum based on suitability and experience to the post. Benefits include:
* Increasing annual leave entitlement after two years of continuous service
* A retention payment of £1000
* Investment in your learning and development
* Career progression opportunities
* Meals during shifts
