About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join a vibrant primary school in Camden. This full-time role is term time only, aligning with normal school hours, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about early childhood education. Starting in September 2024, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the development and well-being of young children in the early years foundation stage (EYFS).

Key Responsibilities:

Child Development: Support the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children in the early years setting.
Activity Planning: Plan and implement a variety of engaging and educational activities tailored to the needs of children aged 3-5 years.
Individual Support: Provide one-on-one and group support to children, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring each child's individual needs are met.
Classroom Management: Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where all children feel valued and supported.
Parental Communication: Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the EYFS team and other school staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational environment.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development in line with school and Ofsted requirements.
Safeguarding: Follow all safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the setting.Requirements:

Qualifications: Relevant qualification in early years education or childcare (Level 3 or equivalent is essential).
Experience: Previous experience working with young children in an early years or primary school setting is essential.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Passion: A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
