The Company: Our Client, an innovative dynamic passionate reliable collaborator for public safety users and commercial customers, my client excels in adapting to the evolving landscape of the Voice Communication Sector.
Owing to ongoing expansion, they now need an Android Developer to assist with the development, configuration, and optimization of the Android platform, modifications to the Android framework/services, and the Android development toolchain. While experience in developing Android apps is beneficial, this role is not focused on Android app development.
The Person: Candidates suitable for consideration should be able to provide evidence of the following:
* A HNC/D / Degree in Software Engineering (or similar) or be a Time Served Engineer with relevant experience
* Good understanding of the Android architecture and ecosystem (including low level and security)
* Understanding of the Android SDK and APIs (especially telecoms and networking)
* Experience with most of the following: Binder / AIDL / Services (C++/Java) / Framework APIs / NDK, JNI & CTS
The successful candidate will enjoy a salary of between £75,000 to £85,000 (DOE) + Excellent Benefits / Prospects (including Relocation Assistance), an employment package that you would expect from a company that values its employees.
