Petit Forestier are the European leader in refrigerated rental and we are recruiting for a Regional Operations Manager to oversee and manage the operations of our refrigerated vehicle rental services, within a designated region. This role requires a dynamic leader who can ensure operational excellence, drive customer satisfaction, and support the growth of our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing fleet operations, staff, and resources to achieve business objectives.

Regional Operations Manager - Key Responsibilities
Operational Management:
* Oversee daily operations of the refrigerated vehicle rental services within the assigned region.
* Ensure efficient utilization and maintenance of the fleet to minimize downtime and maximize rental availability.
* Implement and monitor standard operating procedures to maintain high service standards and operational efficiency.
Team Leadership:
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of depot managers, office staff, including workshop-based technicians, mobile technicians and drivers.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training to ensure staff are skilled and motivated.
Customer Service:
* Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving operational issues promptly and effectively.
* Foster strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and enhance service delivery.
Financial Management:
* Develop and manage the regional budget, including forecasting, monitoring expenses, and ensuring cost-effective operations.
* Analyze financial performance and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
Compliance and Safety:
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies, including health and safety standards.
* Oversee the implementation of safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits to maintain a safe working environment.
Continuous Improvement:
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
* Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements to keep the company competitive.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the vehicle rental or transportation industry.
* Proven track record of managing large teams and complex operations.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial analysis.
* Knowledge of refrigerated transportation and fleet management is a plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with fleet management software.
* Ability to travel within the region as required.
