Milk Education are working with a primary school in L31 area. You will be working in a year 6 Class supporting the class teacher to provide fun and engaging lessons. As the KS2 teaching assistant, you will be responsible for supporting with the day to day running of the classroom. In the afternoon you will take small groups of children with any required additional learning. This a temp to perm opportunity
This role is Monday to Friday 08:30 – 15:30.

Your role & responsibilities of KS2 Teaching Assistant :
* Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
* You will be working in a Year 4 class and will be responsible for taking small groups of children and when required support 1-2-1
* Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
* You will work closely with the class teacher to provide a safe environment and engaging lesson.
Non-negotiables:
* Must have experience within the last two years supporting children in either an education, social care, nursery, community/youth role, college/university placement or any volunteer roles
Please note, candidates without a qualification but with extensive experience (paid or voluntary) with children or a relevant setting are also welcome to apply
* Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
* Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
* Be able to display excellent verbal communication as well as the ability to actively listen.
