Urgent requirement for a Senior Commercial Estates Surveyor required for a global research powerhouse on a 12-18 month fixed term contract. An exceptional Senior Estates Surveyor to join the core team responsible for the management, transaction, and strategic oversight of a diverse, high-value property portfolio committed to ground-breaking research and education. Strategic Management and Complex Transactions You will operate as a key technical expert, providing professional advisory across various internal governance bodies and departments. Your responsibilities are wide-ranging and cover the full spectrum of estates activity: You will actively manage operational leases , expertly handling rent reviews, complex lease renewals, dilapidation negotiations, and tenant applications for alterations and assignments. Crucially, you will help manage high-level transactional duties, managing the full process for significant Property Acquisitions and Disposals . This involves everything from market research and commissioning specialist surveys to instructing solicitors and agreeing detailed heads of terms. Furthermore, you will negotiate and execute intricate legal agreements, including Easements, Wayleaves, and Statutory Covenants , conduct mandatory RICS-compliant Valuations , and prepare papers for senior review.
