Your Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Site Manager, you will:
* Project Management: Take charge of day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with budget constraints.
* Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage on-site teams, including subcontractors and labourers, to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
* Safety Compliance: Implement and maintain health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards to ensure a safe working environment for all site personnel.
* Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality assurance and control throughout the build, ensuring all works meet regulatory standards and client specifications.
* Problem Solving: Quickly address any on-site issues or delays, deploying problem-solving skills to keep the project on track.
* Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients, keeping them updated on progress and ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
About You:
* Experience: You have a solid background in Site Management, ideally within the precast construction industry. However, they also welcome applicants with structural engineering experience or other relevant construction backgrounds that can bring valuable transferable skills.
* Qualifications: You hold a valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certificate. Additional certifications such as First Aid at Work, CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme), or other industry-relevant qualifications are a plus.
* Knowledge: You are well-versed in current health and safety legislation and have experience implementing safe systems of work on site.
* Clear Record: You must have a clean criminal record, as many of their projects involve sensitive or high-security sites.
* Mobility: You are flexible and willing to travel to various sites across the UK, with the potential for overnight stays as required by project demands.
* Communication Skills: You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and site teams.
